Dovre in Gudbrandsdalen is a municipal in the county of Oppland. A large part of the municipality is above tree line in the high mountains and includes parts of the Dovrefjell national park with the mountain Snøhetta (2286 meters) and the northern part of Rondane. Here you will find the richest alpine plant life in Northern Europe and also stocks of musk ox and reindeer.
