Rainy rides in Flims Laax

"Despite the weather conditions, we choose the Stenna Tobel, which is one of the most technical rides I know in my home area Flims Laax. Narrow, steep and slippery rainy corners follows speed lines, and always the sound of the massive river follow our tires…. Even an IRON MAIDEN concert is a cosy, quiet thing compared to this immense waterdraft. Danke to Stefan Schlumpf/pics and Jan Sponseil, both of them shared the beauty of this rainy-day on the bikes just in front of my house.

Åre Bike Festival
Åre Bike Festival just went off July 5 to 11 in the MTB capital of Sweden. The weeklong celebration of mountain biking in Northern Europe's largest bike park was organized by Åre Mountain Cyclists, the local cycling club, and host for the Mountain Bike World Cup back in 1999.
The trails were in excellent condition, the weather gods took part in the event and the sun shone almost all week. Everyone had a big smile´ when they came down to jump on the chair lift up again. Together with our dealer Åre Äventyrs Butik and Norröna ambassador Alex Mattson we got to enjoy it too. For those who did not, check the video and see you next year!
